Henry
Bryant is a successful professional footbal player in the Arena
Football League, formerly of the New Orleans Voodoo football team, and
a former NFL player. He has also appeared as an actor for NBC
"Friday Night Lights". Henry's goal is to build a relationship
with cities to help give a positive message to those children with drug
addicted parents and those suffering with diabetes.
“I personally experienced negative abuse as a child and decided to turn all of that negativity into a positive by excelling in football. I was determined not to let my childhood bring me down and be led into the same drug path that my father chose. Instead, I made it a goal not to become like my father, a drug addict.”
The
Henry Bryant Foundation was created to help children suffering with
drug addictive parents. As well as children suffering with diabetes.
“My sister battled with diabetes for several years and finally lost her
battle at the young age of 24. I am dedicating this foundation to my
sister Shelnora Bryant.”
