EL PASO DIABETES WALKHenry Bryant will lead the diabetes walk on March 28, 2009. After the walk Henry will be a guest speaker. He will share about how diabetes has affected his life with his mother dying from diabetes when Henry was only three years old and his sister losing her battle with diabetes at the young age of twenty four. KANSAS CITY FILM FESTIVAL
Henry Bryant recently participated in the Kansas City Negro Film Festival. A traylor of his documentary "The Hidden Truth" was showcased to thousands of viewers. Check out the traylor below.
ARKANSAS & NEW ORLEANS WORLD AIDS DAY EVENT
These events were focused on awareness of Aids and HIV. Henry Bryant was asked to be a guest speaker at both events due to the fact that he overcame a childhood with an HIV positive father. He expressed his struggle and pain with his father. Overall, his compelling speech exhibited his strength and determination to be better than his father. He shared advise to those who know an HIV positive person or can only imagine what its like to grow up with one.
